AugUR is an experiential public service announcement website that incorporates modern design and technology, built to be used as a resource for climate change awareness campaigns. In combination of state of the art models with the CityScapes dataset, the main feature of AugUR segments and in-paints current “climate” images to create an augmented image with the detrimental effects of climate change that will help users visualize what the future will look like. As a UX generalist working from visual design, interaction design and front end development, I ideated a theme, created a user flow, brief style guide + visual lo-fi prototype and hi-fi prototype. (Oh, and I repeated this process twice because of project scope; the initial project was designed for mobile and then it progressed to a web to fit technological constraints)
How UR Feeling is a web application that is created to better the virtual classroom experience. We found that students and professors have a hard time empathizing & communicating effectively due to a lack of in person cues. More specifically we decided to address students’ camera-stress and creating a better feedback system for the professor. How UR Feeling web app recognizes and aggregates emotions and anonymously shares that data with professors and students within a class. The core principles of the application are simplicity, universality, and privacy.
As a UX generalist and a front-end dev within a team of 5 students, I created user flows, visual assets and iterated through wireframes and prototypes with developer scope and feedback.
I imagined how Google Workplace suite would look if it were 1 application. Many users like students or just corporate worker uses apps like Gmail and Google Calendar on a daily basis. Having a workplace app that would combine these tasks may be comfortable to connect the functionalities of these apps better and to keep a better work-life balance.
Developed a simple IOS Augmented Reality game that identifies an object using CoreML and prompts users to play truth or dare to initaite goal-setting. (Swift, ARKit, and CoreML). Published Smirk It: Goal Setting Through Augmented Reality in RIT’s Frameless 2020 publications
I designed and developed a full web application in a team of 4. Traveling Tree is a laid web-based game that lets users grow their baby tree by taking care of them through pre-defined actions and even travel through the tree universe. Each destination in the tree universe is connected to a city and its weather through the OpenWeather API; when your tree travels, your tree health will change depending on the weather.
